There is a desperation for heroism, the show needs it, and it's fabricated. Now we know that the "Ukrainian girl who confronts the Russian soldiers" is actually a Palestinian girl against Israeli soldiers.

The Ucrainean soldiers that supposedly refused to surrender and heroically died trying to defend the Snakes Island, actually peacefully surrendered.

The photo of the military dressed president, with a gun in his hands ready to fight the Russians, is from a visit to a military unit, a year ago.

And on and on fake "heroic", "moving", "horrifying", "inspiring" stories, video games and, ironically, US / NATO attacks on Middle East images presented as brutal Russian attacks – the entire show machine moved from covid to war.

The spectacle induces irrational heroism and a war frenzy that escalates more and more. Yes, heroic gestures might be justified sometimes, but maybe not sacrificing your lives fighting for what kind of oligarchs (eastern vs western) have the right to install the puppet regime that rules you. Maybe it's not worth pushing for WW3 just because some elites don't want to lose their geopolitical games played with your lives in what they each consider their arena. This is especially so, when, before the western intervention and lsraeli intelligence collaboration with Ukraine to develop a Russia phobic sentiment, people were pro Russia and against EU integration. Why not the oligarchs and their political representatives fight each other and leave people alone.
